Oura Ring 4 leaked: New certification hints at successor to popular smart ring
While Samsung's Galaxy Ring dominates recent headlines, Oura remains the pioneer in the smart ring market. Their current flagship, the Oura Ring 3, is due for an upgrade. Recent certification listings hint that the wait might be over soon.
A leak reveals an upcoming Oura product with the model number OA11. A certification listing includes images of the ring, showcasing a flat design—unlike the curved Galaxy Ring. Notably, the label supposedly confirms this is the Oura Ring 4, available in gold and size 15 (as an example).
The Oura Ring 3 offered Horizon (smooth) and Heritage (plateau) variants. Following this pattern, OA11 could be the Ring 4 Horizon, with OA12 potentially being the Ring 4 Heritage.
Testing covers sizes 7, 9, 13, and 15, suggesting a size range of at least 7-15 for the Ring 4. While not confirmed, smaller and larger sizes might also be available.
Oura remains officially silent on a successor. However, with the Galaxy Ring's recent launch and the Oura Ring 3's October 2021 release, the evidence for an Oura Ring 4 is strong.
