An ultra-thin iPhone 17 is coming?

The Apple iPhone 17 is coming later this year. And this new series will reportedly bring with it the thinnest iPhone ever. The phone is expected to be called the iPhone 17 Air, which aligns it with existing Air products in Apple's arsenal (like the iPad Air and MacBook Air).

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to come in at around 5.5mm for the base model and 6.3mm thick for the pro option (far from the 7.8mm of the iPhone 16). It might be seen as Apple's test run at potentially trying to release a foldable iPhone in the future.

Industry experts like Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predict that the ultra-thin iPhone will come out this year.
