Gemini's document upload feature now free for all users

Google Gemini users can now upload and analyze documents and spreadsheets without a Gemini Advanced subscription. Previously, this feature, which allows users to get answers, generate summaries, and create charts from uploaded files, was exclusive to paying subscribers.
Reports on Reddit confirm the rollout, with users now able to upload various file types, including text, code, documents (including PDFs and Google Docs), and spreadsheets (including Google Sheets).
While free users will have a daily quota for uploads, the exact limit remains undisclosed. Users can track their usage within the Gemini interface. Those exceeding the limit will have to wait for the quota to reset.
The feature is rolling out gradually and should be available to all users soon. This change makes Gemini's document analysis capabilities accessible to a wider audience.
