iPhone Fold rumoured to feature under-display camera

Samsung Under Display Camera (Photo: Samsung)

A recent report from Korea suggests Apple's upcoming foldable iPhone, expected in late 2026 or 2027, is being tested with an under-display camera for its inner, folding screen, similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold6. The cover display is said to have a hole-punch selfie camera.

Other rumoured features include a side-mounted Touch ID fingerprint sensor instead of Face ID. While screen sizes have reportedly shrunk slightly compared to previous prototypes, resolutions and aspect ratios remain the same.

Apple is still in the development phase, and specifications may change. Previous rumours indicate a focus on minimizing the screen crease and using a higher-quality hinge.
