Rogers and Microsoft have joined forces to announce an exclusive Canadian partnership for the private preview of Azure Programmable Connectivity. This new solution is for developers to build 5G network-aware applications.

Through this platform and partnership, select developers specializing in business and enterprise applications will gain secure access to location-based API on Rogers' national 5G network. Rogers and Microsoft want to create apps that can offer business solutions for purposes like improving the supply chain in the manufacturing and retail sectors.

Microsoft Teams Premium helps keep track of meetings with the help of GPT-3

A new feature coming to the Microsoft Teams Premium subscription service is one of the more useful integrations of OpenAI's GPT-3.5. It's the first more obvious integration of OpenAI's language processing expertise since the company and Microsoft announced their expanded partnership. This updated service will cost US$10 (around CA$13) per month and will automate some traditional administrative tasks in meetings, like taking notes or creating summaries.

Microsoft is calling this new AI-powered feature "intelligent recap." It is powered by GPT-3.5's intelligent recap and can create “automatically generated meeting notes, recommended tasks, and personalized highlights.” It applies even if you don't log on for the meeting.

HP Poly Voyager Free 60 Plus has a case with a display

HP has "enterprise" earbuds in the new Poly Voyager Free 60 Plus. And its unique point is an OLED touchscreen on the charging case where you can control music playback, volume, and settings, see battery status, and accept or reject calls. The OLED screen will also make it easy to switch between two connected devices, as these buds support multipoint pairing. It can remember up to eight connections.

The Poly Voyager Free 60 Plus gets features like adaptive active noise cancellation with a transparency mode, "WindSmart technology" for clearer calls outside, AptX support, and earbud-based gesture controls. These earbuds are also IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance.
