Following a breakdown in talks for spinning off Annapurna's game division, the staff of Annapurna Interactive resigned. "All 25 members of the Annapurna Interactive team collectively resigned," former president Nathan Gary and staffers told Bloomberg. "This was one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make and we did not take this action lightly."

Annapurna Interactive is a game company known for publishing independent hits like Stray, Outer Wilds, Gorogoa, Neon White, What Remains of Edith Finch, and many more. Gary tried to negotiate a deal with Annapurna Pictures lead Megan Ellison to turn it into an independent developer. 'Stray' to get a real-life 'cat-pack' for your feline friend

Stray, the third-person cat adventure game, wants to bring your love for the digital cat to your real-life kitty (if you have one). Annapurna Interactive partnered with Travel Cat to release a limited-edition cat backpack and harness and leash set. This Stray-inspired cat pack can hold "up to 25 lbs of cat." Like other cat backpacks, it has a bubble window that lets your kitty peer out into the world while you travel with them.

The leash and harness set is a replica of the one worn by the nameless cat who prowls the robot-filled streets of Stray. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the robot sidekick B12. Both the backpack and harness are already available for pre-order. In Canada, the bag retails for $245, while the harness costs $70.
