Lamborghini sells a record 3,245 cars in 2015

Luxury supercar maker Lamborghini has sold a record 3,245 cars in 2015 which is a record for the Volkswagen-owned automaker. Lamborghini's previous record was 2,430 units sold in 2008, which was affected subsequently by global economic downturn that hit exotic car manufacturers.

Lamborghini is looking to increase sales in the future with the new Urus crossover joining the Huracan and Aventador models currently being sold.

Lamborghini's Aventador boasts a brutal 700HP 12-cylinder engine that will blast it to a 0-100 kp/h speed in 2.9 seconds as well as a top speed of 350 km/h.
