There's a Baby Yoda Tamagotchi

Source: Bandai Namco

This feels like something that should've been around longer. But now, we finally get it. There's a Tamagotchi version of Grogu a.k.a. Baby Yoda. You take care of the little guy by feeding him squid chowder and macarons and play mini-games. You can unlock a bunch of outfits for Grogu.

But be warned, you shouldn't overfeed him. Apparently, "if you feed the Grogu Tamagotchi too much squid chowder, the squid will jump on him." According to Bandai Namco, the Grogu Tamagotchi will be available for preorder on Amazon "soon."

'Fast & Furious Crossroads' gets first gameplay trailer

The upcoming Fast & Furious game takes a lot of inspiration from the over-the-top action movie franchise. And now we get our first look at Fast & Furious Crossroads gameplay is going to be like through this first gameplay trailer. Developed by Slightly Mad Studios, Crossroads was first slated for a May release, but it got pushed back to August 7. As shown in the trailer above, the game harnesses what the film franchise is known for—fast cars and action.

You get to play some of the series regulars (voiced by the actors, too). And it looks like you can switch between the different characters. According to its publisher Bandai Namco, the title will also get three-way multiplayer mode. The games based on the series have been underwhelming so far, so a lot is riding on this one. And we hope it delivers. Fast & Furious Crossroads will be coming to the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

‘Tamagotchi’ is making a comeback, comes to Android and iOS

For someone who grew up playing with the original Tamagotchi, this latest news from Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Paladin Studios is tugging at my heart strings. With a lot of the classic games getting rebooted lately, it’s not exactly surprising that the beloved pixel-based pet is getting a 2017 refresh. Called My Tamagotchi Forever, the free-to-play game is coming to both Android and iOS next year. The great news is it has soft launched here already.

Just like the original game, you’re going to have to take care of your little pet. Feed it when it’s hungry, bathe it when it gets dirty, etc. Of course, it’ll alert you when it needs attention and that means you get one more distraction to ping you on your phone. The game will introduce different game modes and mini games to help you earn coins you can use within the game. You can, if you want, shell out actual money to use within the game. And just like everything else, you can share your Tamagotchi moments with friends.
