Review: Nokia C6 Symbian Smartphone

Billed as an entry-level smartphone on Bell's network (free with a three-year plan, $249 no contract), the Nokia C6 bears some similarity to last year's Nokia flagship N97. Light in weight but not in features, the C6 comes loaded with a 5Megapixel camera, video calling, OVI Maps and a touch-screen display coupled with a large slide out QWERTY keyboard.

HTC Desire Z coming to Bell, offers a keyboard and mobile Flash 


Another Android smartphone has been announced, this time a 3'7 inch screen with a pop-out keyboard.  HTC Corporation announced the upcoming exclusive availability of the new HTC Desire Z Android-based smartphone from Bell Mobility. Taking advantage of Bell's HSPA+ network, the HTC Desire Z will be the first smartphone in Canada offering download speeds up to 14.4 megabits per second and it has Adobe Flash built-in.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 now available in Canada 

Rogers, Telus, Bell and Virgin as well as Best Buy, Future Shop and The Source have begun shipping the BlackBerry Torch in limited numbers. RIM's latest smartphone that combines multi-touch capabilities, the all-new BlackBerry OS 6 and the ever-reliable QWERTY keyboard that slides out when needed.  The BlackBerry Torch was slated for an earlier release date but was delayed for about a week which means there will be a lot of happy customers this weekend.
