Pawn Stars troll Google's Chromebook in latest Microsoft 'Scroogled' ad

Here's a direct hit from the Pawn Stars who refuse to accept a Google Chromebook because, "when you're not connected, it's pretty much a brick." The Scroogled ad goes on to point out that traditional notebooks use applications like Office and iTunes which work even when you're offline. The kicker here is the line, "when you are online, Google tracks what you do so they can sell ads." Ow.

Google announces $1299.00 Chromebook Pixel

Google has created a the ultimate premium Chromebook cloud notebook with an impressive 12.85 inch high-density 2560×1700 screen with 4.3 million pixels, more than a Retina Display. This new Chromebook is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and a comes with 1 terabyte of free storage on Google Drive for three years. SourceCode: Riding the ChromeBook Cloud Part 2

A few weeks ago we embarked on a ambitious journey to use Google's browser-OS powered Chromebook as our main computer. With the Chromebook, specifically Samsungs' Series 5 notebook, we would handle our day to day tasks of blogging, writing articles for various print and web publications, use our social media apps, surf the web, watch videos and listen to music in a purely cloud computing environment. This is how we fared.
