Sony releases the RX100 III making the best point-and-shoot camera even better
The newly released RX100 III (comes in June for $900) improves on the capabilities of Sony's prosumer compact point and shoot camera by adding a built-in retractable OLED viewfinder, a flip-up LCD screen for selfie-fixated folks, and is the is the first Cyber-shot model to offer high-resolution HD video recording in the XAVC S format, which allows for full HD recording at a data rate of 50 mbps with lower compression for improved video quality.
I've been using the RX100 II as my go-to camera for work as well as personal use and it just can't be beat in terms of portability, photo and video quality, quick wireless image sending to mobile devices online services and general ease of use.
A viewfinder is the one feature I desired most, but found too expensive to invest in. The newest model retains the same it jump for the lowdown on all the features.
