‘Fortnite’ rumoured to be coming to the Nintendo Switch

It might not be wise to rely on 4chan for updates but Kotaku seems to think the leaked document discovered on the forum might be reliable enough. Rumour has it that Epic Games will be bringing Fortnite to the Nintendo Switch An anonymous source privy to Epic Games’ plans also confirmed with the site that the game will be coming to the platform.

The leaked document showed part of E3 showroom planning and it featured marketing materials for games like Fortnite, Paladins, Dragon Ball FighterZ, FIFA, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, as well as unannounced games like Killer Queen Black and Overcooked 2. It wouldn’t come as much of a surprise if the game does hit the platform, considering its popularity. Epic Games doesn’t have a comment yet on the report.

‘Fortnite’ is coming to Android ‘this summer’

Fortnite can be considered one of the most games out right now. It made its way to mobile earlier this year with a launch on iOS. Android users have been left in the dark over when the game was making its way. Well, Epic Games is appeasing Android users somewhat. A new post rounding up the latest update for iOS. The game developer quickly mentioned that the game is coming to Android “this summer.” Unfortunately beyond a general window, the developers didn’t elaborate. We’d just have to wait and see in the coming months or, hopefully, weeks.

‘Fortnite’ is now out of beta in iOS

If you aren’t part of the invite-only beta program for Epic Games’ Fortnite, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. The popular battle royale game is now out of beta and available to iOS users with an iPhone SE/6S and iPad mini 4/Air 2 or later running on iOS 11. It’s one of the biggest titles in gaming right now and if you’ve been meaning to check it out, you can do so freely.

Some of the new updates that recently came to the game include a snipers-only game mode, homing missile weapon, and some in-game clues that point you towards the destruction of the game’s Tilted Tower section, which has been a big point of discussion for the players of the game.

‘Fortnite Battle Royale’ makes its way to mobile

Epic Games has just announced it’s bringing its free-to-play multiplayer game to both iOS and Android devices, with the former having its beta test starting soon. The port will be available for both phones and tablets and you’re promised the “same 100-player game you know from the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac” with all the same gameplay content, weekly updates, and maps the PC and console versions get. Those who are interested to try out can sign up for the iOS beta starting March 12th and invites will roll out soon afterwards with players getting invitations with several invites that can be sent out to friends.

There will be cross-play and cross-progression between the PS4, PC, Mac, iOS, and later on when the Android version comes out (which is said to be in a few months). This means if you have friends playing on other platforms, you would be able to team up with them. There won’t be any cross-play with Xbox One it seems but as the game’s developer says, they did this in partnership with Sony so that explains the lack of support for Microsoft’s console. Sony has previously turned down cross-platform gameplay with Microsoft’s Xbox One.
