LG might launch hybrid Wear OS watch at the V40 ThinQ launch

A new hybrid watch from LG has been reported for months already but it looks like the company is ready for it to launch. Evan Blass a.k.a. @evleaks reported that the LG Watch G7 will launch alongside the V40 ThinQ smartphone on October 3rd. Its existence has been reported through FCC filings that suggest it comes with a 1.2-inch display, 768MB RAM, and 4GB of storage. It won’t, however, have GPS or NFC functions. At that time, it was rumoured to be called Watch Timepiece. Now, whether these specs line up, we’ll find out soon enough.

This might be what the Galaxy Note 9 looks like

Renowned and reliable leaker Evan Blass just shared what could be the official press render of the upcoming Galaxy Note 9. While countless other renders have showed up before, this is the first one that shows off the blue and yellow colorway or the navy blue phablet with the yellow S Pen. This dual-tone stylus looks like it combines a matte finish with a glossy/shiny top and its backend sporting the same navy blue color that matches the smartphone (perhaps to make it easier to meld with the rest of the phone). We can’t confirm from this image how the S Pen will be charged within the phone (it’s said to have Bluetooth connectivity).

What this leaked render also confirms is that the fingerprint sensor gets moved below the dual-camera setup and the bottom bezel gets shaved off a bit. The power, volume, and Bixby buttons seem to have been raised when compared to its predecessor. But we just have to wait a bit until the phone is launched.

Leaked image of the Galaxy S9 show up online

Looks like Samsung doesn’t want to change things up too much with the upcoming version of its flagship—at least if we are to believe the renders that renowned leaker Evan Blass shared. At first glass the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus look rather similar to its predecessor. But this time there are more cameras and sensors above the screen. We won’t be surprised if they improve the face unlock capability of the device. And if a portrait mode similar to the ones we’ve seen on the Pixel 2 and iPhone X appear, we won’t be surprised either. As Engadget points out, the bezels do seem somewhat larger than those in the S8. But this is something we have to take a closer look at first. Thankfully, the wait isn’t that long as Samsung is set to unveil the new flagships next month.

Samsung rumoured to unveil Galaxy S9 and S9+ on February 26

Samsung Galaxy S8

While we already know that Samsung will be unveiling its new flagship, the Galaxy S9 and S9+, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, we don’t have the exact date. According to famous leaker Evan Blass, the phone will be launched on February 26. He got this information from a “C-level executive at a major casemaker.” According to his anonymous source, pre-orders will start three days after. The global release and shipment will supposedly happen on March 16.
