Rogers' and Fido's roaming plans add 10 destinations

You can now use Rogers Roam Like Home and Fido Roam in 10 new destinations. The list includes Cuba, Uganda, Swaziland, Yemen, Mauritius, Rwanda, Benin, Botswana, People’s Republic of Congo, and Western Sahara. The additional countries extend the services' availability in over 180 destinations.

Rogers Like Home lets you use your existing data plan abroad. It costs $7 per day in the US and $12 per day in other international destinations. You will be charged at a maximum of 15 days per billing cycle.

Share your travel tales while on-the-go with Fido Roam

There will be a lot of moments during your summer vacation abroad that you’ll want to share with the loved ones you left at home. Now, you don’t have to wait to log into your hotel/hostel’s Wi-Fi if you use Fido Roam. This plan is available to Fido Pulse plan customers. Fido levels the roaming playing field with new Pulse plans

It seems Fido has come to its senses.  Launching in mid-May, new and existing Fido Pulse plan customers will be able to use the data, text and talk from their Fido Pulse plan while globetrotting outside of Canada for $5 / day in the U.S. and $10 / day internationally in tons of destinations.
