Google's Pixel Buds Pro adds Active Noise Cancellation, multipoint Bluetooth Connection
Google wants to offer an alternative to Apple AirPods Pro for Android. The new Pixel Buds Pro bring active noise cancellation to the Pixel Buds line. They use custom speakers paired with a custom six-core audio chip to help with noise cancellation. They also have built-in sensors to measure the pressure inside the ear canal. These in-ears are designed to sit deeper into your canal. Google's SilentSeal tech is designed to relieve any stress that might cause. It is meant to block out external noise while avoiding the feeling of being plugged up.
The Pixel Buds Pro also support a multipoint Bluetooth connection, allowing you to automatically swap between two devices, like phones and a computer. And multipoint on these earbuds will support any device, even iOS devices. Yes, it will work with iOS, but you won't get the Pixel Buds app for adjusting settings or EQ.
