By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Folliowing in the deluge of major technology fall launches, Google is expected to reveal its latest Pixel 3 smartphones and other Made By Google devices on October 9.

October has become Google's time to launch its range of new products and services. On tap this year are the two vastly leaked Pixel 3 devices. We expect two smartphones with the larger model featuring the edge-to-edge-display and new notch. We might see some exclusive Android Pie features on the new Pixel 3s. Google celebrates Chrome's 10th anniversary with a design overhaul

No browser has endured longer and evolved as much as Google Chrome. Considered the dominant web browser on desktops and on mobile and which has also been spun off as a cloud operating system, Google celebrated the first 10 years of Chrome by redesigning the browser's look and feel across the line.

On the PC and Mac, we're seeing rounded tabs, a pill-shaped search area and refined elements

Chrome Browser will have a new design across all operating systems. Highlights include Microsoft Windows 10® notification-center integration, touchpad gesture navigation on Windows, and autofill updates.

If you want to get the redesign try entering the Chrome flag URLs below into the address bar and selecting the appropriate option from the dropdown menu. To get the latest features be sure to enable them in Chrome Beta 69.

Google acknowledges we're on our devices too much, proposes some time management solutions

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

What was most impressive was the company's acknowledgement that we are spending too much time glued to our devices and that we're missin out on real life by being mired down by notifications and being distracted by social media, mobile games, infinite scroll experiences like Instagram of Facebook.

There were a lot of cool announcements today at Google I/O, the yearly pow-wow for all things Google. This is usually the time when we see the next version of Android as well as enhancements and improvements to the Google ecosystem, large as it is. Android is the world's leading smartphone platform with well over two billion user install base.

Google showed off smart functions of Google Assistant that can enable it to make calls and appointments just like a real assistant can. Improvement to the Photos app that can colour old Black and White photos using Machine Learning algorithms. Improved keyboard functionality and more intuitive Android OS features across the board.
