HTC offers Sense 6 lock screen on Google Play

HTC continues to unbundle its system apps and this time around the Sense 6 lock screen is decoupled from its firmware. However, you won’t be able to get this if your device isn’t running Sense 6. But for those who can run this, you would need to reboot after you install the lock screen. It’s not the most utilitarian app but it’s a good thing that it is making its way to Play Store so updates can get to us faster. If you own a One M8 or M7 you might be prompted to update pretty soon.

HTC begins roll out of Sense 6 for One M7 on May 12

Have you been waiting to get the Sense 6 on your One M7 device? We have good news for you. HTC has announced they would release Sense 6 user interface for the One M7 starting May 12. The Sense 6 brings new features such as flatter UI elements and brighter colors, a more contextually aware BlinkFeed screen reader, Motion Launch, a new camera app, and Extreme Power Saving mode. HTC continues its roll out of smartphones in different segments. The mid-tier HTC Desire blends the familiar front aluminum fascia of the HTC One with the polycarbonate rear casing of last year's HTC One X and X+. With a 4.5-inch qHD display, 4G-LTE connectivity, a 1.4Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, the HTC Desire is available from Bell, Virgin Mobile, Fido, Rogers, Koodo and Videotron in Canada.

HTC Puccini is a 10" inch Honeycomb OS Tablet with LTE, slated for AT&T

After the 7"inch HTC Flyer, the 10" inch Puccini looks to compete in the more conventional and crowded 10" inch tablet space. This one has Honeycomb with Sense on top and will be able to use the HTC pen. No word on whether this device will make it to Canada.
