'Kingdom Hearts' trilogy to arrive on Nintendo Switch on Feb. 10
If you've been waiting to play the Kingdom Hearts trilogy on the Nintendo Switch, your wait is almost over. Square Enix has announced that the three games, Kingdom Hearts - HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III, are coming to the console via cloud download starting February 10. It'll be priced at US$90 when it launches, but you can get a discount if you pre-order now for US$72. You can also opt to pick individual titles instead of the bundle. If you buy the all-in-one collection or just the Kingdom Hearts III version, you'll get the Advent Red Keyblade to use in the Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC).
Since the game arrives as a cloud version, you will need a fast and stable internet connection to get a decent experience. As Engadget pointed out, it seems like a waste that the developer didn't remake the game to run directly on the Switch, given titles like Witcher 3 and the Assassin's Creed collection will run directly on the console.
