Video taken at IFA shows what the next iPhone could look like

It is September and we are getting closer to an Apple announcement pertaining to a phone that they make. The iPhone 4S was announced last October so an update is imminent. The next iPhone has been such a big story that we've seen mainstream media publishing stories based on rumours. The video above shows something cobbled together using existing parts. As with any rumour, take this with a pinch of salt and a shot of tequila. There are a few things that don't feel right about the mock-up, the font on the back and overall finish isn't very Apple-y but the design seems to fit in with some of the other stuff we've seen.

7-inch iPad case allegedly appears

Another day, another purported iPad Mini leak. For a product that hasn't even been revealed, the mythical 7-inch version of the Apple iPad is sure getting a lot of interest. Thanks, in part, to the stellar reception that the Nexus 7 has received. The photo above was posted on a Chinese social media website that claimed that these were iPad parts. We woult take this with a grain of salt and a shot of tequila, but anything is possible. A quick analysis of the photos reveals no rear facing camera and no antenna for 3G/4G/LTE.

10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook appears in Vietnam

We've known for some time that RIM had plans for a larger PlayBook, it appeared in a leaked roadmap slide a month ago slated for Q3 2013. The 10-inch PlayBook project (apparently codenamed Blackforest 128) was thought to have been shelved since RIM had more pressing business to attend to, namely getting BlackBerry 10 and its supporting devices off the ground and into user's and developer's hands. You know, to get the company back in decent shape and competing again in the mobile market.

SlideShow: 2012 iPhone Cases and Parts reported leaked

Ahh, Summer. The temperature's rising and iPhone 'leaks' and rumors start to flood the Internet. Above is a sampling of the reported casing and parts of an upcoming iPhone model. These hit the web yesterday and come from various sources such as uBreakiFix.com and 9to5Mac.com

From what we can see, this design is slimmer and longer than the current glass iPhone and incorporates an Aluminum frame as well as an all new Dock Connector. This looks like a 4-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Photos are sourced from Asian part suppliers who stock the items shortly before new models are introduced. Can this really be the 6th generation iPhone?
