There have been some exciting innovations in cameras these past few years and also some certifiable flops (remember Lytro?), the Light L16 camera looks to be the next new thing in cameras.

If it looks strange, that's because it has 16 lense and apertures, why? Because each of these takes a picture simultaneously then using sophisticated computational imaging techniques, it fuses them together to create a single image with up to 52 megapixel resolution.
