Facebook set to take on eBay and Craigslist for sales ads with Marketplace
Facebook is looking for new ways to keep users of all ages engaged and coming back and it things that offering its Marketplace for people to buy and sell goods will keep it relevant.
Marketplace, which rolls out in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand who are over 18-years-old. Users in will soon see a new shop icon in the bottom menu of the Facebook app. This loads a selection of photos of items that people in your general location are looking to sell. No timeline yet for a Canadian launch.
