Microsoft to launch desktop version of Office 2016 on September 22nd

The desktop version of Microsoft’s Office suite is coming out soon—on September 22^nd, to be exact. Coming with it are a slew of new features including real-time collaboration, math input tool for Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, heavier cloud integration, and dark theme. As mentioned though, this is just the desktop version and not the “universal” suite for all Windows 10 devices. This version of Office can run on older devices, the universal suite will need Windows 10 and will be more touch-friendly.

Microsoft wants you to try Office 2016 Preview

Microsoft Office 2016 Preview is ready to accept more testers. Microsoft is offering access to the newest version of its key productitivy software suite. While Office 2016 isn't coming until the Fall, anyone who is interested in checking out the next evolution of Office should check it out here. Note that this is unfinished and pre-release software that in the process of being finalized so a lot of the features may not work as advertised.

Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac preview is available to download today

It's been a long time since Microsoft Office on Mac users have gotten some love. The latest version of the application is Office 2011! This is changing starting today with the Microsoft Office 2016 preview available for download for anyone who wants to see what's new.
