Leaked specs and photos of the HTC One M9 surface

If you can’t wait until the March 1 Mobile World Congress launch of HTC’s One M9 flagship, then maybe some product leaks might tide you over? Mobile Geeks have come across the online listing of the HTC One M9, including spec sheet, press images, and 749 euros price tag in Germany.

It still looks like the HTC One we know today with BoomSound speakers framing the 5-inch 1080p display. Some of the other specs enumerated include Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, and a new 20-megapixel camera at the rear and UltraPixel front camera. It will reportedly be powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI. It will be available in a two-tone look of gold and silver or gunmetal gray.

Samsung outs new teaser for Galaxy S6

With March 1 fast approaching, Samsung isn’t wasting any time releasing the teaser video for its new flagship, the Galaxy S6. The promo has a female announcer talking about the future with words like: “Tomorrow, metals will flow, beauty will be powerful, borders will disappear, reflections will be free, colors will live, the future will be the present.”

This gives us more hints that the Galaxy S6 will have a metal design and a curved anti-reflective display (as some rumours have suggested). In the video, you can even see the screen curving around the left and right side of the device. We just have to wait a bit more to see exactly what the new Samsung device will look like.

Leak of Samsung Galaxy S6’s battery surfaces

With less than two weeks away from the Mobile World Congress 2015 and Samsung’s Unpacked event there, it isn’t surprising that even more leaks about the company’s next flagship has surfaced. This time, the battery of the supposed Galaxy S6 has been photographed and leaked. The image shows two battery packs carrying the model number EB-BG925ABE, which is reportedly the model number of the Galaxy S6.

As it has been previously rumoured, it is a 2600mAh battery, which is lower than the 2800mAh battery of the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S6 will reportedly have a non-removable battery that will be compatible with wireless charging. It was also said that it will feature an all-metal design that’s why they expect it to be slim and battery must have been sacrificed for that. If there is any truth to any of these, we just have to wait until March 1 to discover the truth.

LG goes full-metal with new Urbane smartwatch

LG’s Android Wear smartwatch line just got classier with the new LG Watch Urbane. The smartwatch will be making its debut at Mobile World Congress 2015. It still has the same 1.3-inch full circle P-OLED display of the G Watch R but this time it has a narrower bezel and sleeker, full metal design. It brings the classic looks of a timepiece with technology from Google. The Urbane will be available in polished silver and gold and will be complemented by a stitched natural leather strap.

The Urbane also runs on 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and 410mAh battery. It is also dust and water resistant (IP67 rating). No word yet on the price or availability. We should find out more about this at MWC.
