For the first time ever, Nintendo will run an ad during the Super Bowl. The 30-second spot, which along with a 90-second spot that builds on the worldwide anticipated launch of the new Nintendo Switch video game system and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, both of which launch March 3.

‘Defenders of the Triforce’ Escape Room Experience is coming to Canada

Calling all Zelda enthusiasts! Nintendo is excited to announce that the ‘Defenders of the Triforce’ Experience will soon be making its way to Canada.

In November 2016, Nintendo announced its partnership with SCRAP, the renowned designers of many popular escape room experiences, to create a unique multi-city Puzzle Tour inspired by The Legend of Zelda series. The tour, which was initially announced for eight U.S. cities, has now added three Canadian city stops in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.

Nintendo Switch Preview Tour comes to Toronto on January 29th

 

Weeks before its official launch, the new Nintendo Switch is making a special appearance in Toronto, and local gaming fans can be among the first in the world to try the new console. 

The Nintendo Switch Preview Tour is making its only Canadian stop next weekend at Toronto’s Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and on Sunday, January 29, fans can experience Nintendo’s newest home console first-hand. 

Across a 10,000 square foot event, attendees will be able to interact with the Nintendo Switch in original and surprising settings, each of which bring to life the console’s different play modes. This breakthrough home video game system not only connects to a TV at home, but also instantly transforms into an on-the-go handheld using its 6.2-inch screen.
