Gal Gadot refuses to play Wonder Woman again until Brett Ratner is dropped

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman can be credited for bolstering the Warner Brothers DCCU (DC Cinematic Universe). Her appearance in Batman V Superman : Dawn of Justice was the bright spot in that showdown movie and the Patty Jenkins helmed Wonder Woman is celebrated as being one of the best superhero origin movies ever.
Gadot recently said she will not be playing the iconic role of Wonder Woman in the movies' sequel for as long as producer Brett Ratner is attached to the movie. Ratner's been accused by several women of sexual harassment and Canadian actress Ellen Page recently disclosed how the director maltreated her on set and outed her being gay publicly.
"[Gadot] is tough and stands by her principles," a "Warner Bros. insider" told Page Six. "She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet. She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.” With a deluge of harassment accusations surfacing in Hollywood and little or no accountability being taken by the perpetrators. Gal Gadot's drawing the line is a bold and brave move that is likely to get results because there's money to be made on Warner Brother's end.
