Rogers president and CEO Nadir Mohamed stepping down in 2014

Rogers Communications announced that Nadir Mohamed, who serves as president and CEO, will be stepping down in January 14, 2014.
Mohamed, who recently launched the BlackBerry Z10 with Thorsten Heins, has been with Rogers since 2000. Taking the post of president of Rogers Wireless in 2001, Mohamed spearheaded many of Rogers' innovations in mobile as well as the shift to 3G and later on 4G-LTE technologies. Mohamed was appointed to succeed founder Ted Rogers in 2009. He is a communications industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience.
"Nadir is a highly regarded executive who has delivered strong results and substantial value for more than a decade," said Alan Horn, the chairman of the board of Rogers Communications Inc.
