Samsung has new Pokémon-themed accessories, too

Source: Samsung

If Pokémon is more your thing than Star Wars, Samsung also has a holiday treat for you. There are a bunch of Pokémon-themed accessories for the Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and Galaxy Watch5 Series. The new accessories are inspired by Pokémon from the Kanto region and, of course, there's a Poké Ball, too. The Galaxy Z Flip4 Ring Cover has four beloved Pokémon characters on the silicone case. It's available for US$50 (around CA$70). There's also a new Poké Ball Watch Strap for the Galaxy Watch5. That costs US$40 (~CA$55).

Meanwhile, Galaxy Buds2 Pro owners (or those with the Galaxy Buds2, Galaxy Buds Live, and Galaxy Buds Pro) can get a Poké Ball Cover for your pair of earbuds. Not only is it a cute case, but it also helps protect your earbuds. This also retails for US$40. These accessories are coming to the US this December 26.

Samsung brings hi-fi audio to its Galaxy Buds2 Pro

Source: Samsung

Another iterative update from Samsung comes in the form of its premium earbuds. The new Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbuds get a smaller, more comfortable design and add 24-bit audio playback. According to the company, it's 15% smaller than the original Buds Pro, with the venting grille expanded for improved airflow. This design should reduce that "plugged up" feeling you might experience. And perhaps it could improve these earbuds' transparency mode sound quality, too.

As mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro now supports 24-bit hi-fi wireless audio playback, which Samsung achieved through its proprietary "seamless codec (SSC HiFi)." The company says, "Quality music is enabled to transfer without a pause, and the new coaxial two-way speaker makes those sounds richer than ever." You will need a Samsung phone running One UI 4.0 or later. The music app you're using also needs to support it. (Spotify doesn't at the moment.)
