Samsung tipped to release a dual edge display for next Galaxy Note

With the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge out of the way, the rumour mill for the next Galaxy Note have started turning. The next Note, which if they follow the usual timeline should come out in September at IFA, will reportedly have dual edge display.

Based on a report from Korea, Samsung’s executive vice president of product strategy team Roh Tae-moon said, “There is a possibility that Samsung will introduce the curved display for the Galaxy Note lineup.” We can’t tell this early on if that’ll be coming to Note 5 or Note Edge 2. September is still far away and we’re sure more leaks and rumours will be cropping up ‘til then.

Samsung's anticipated curved phablet, the Galaxy Note Edge, is finally coming to Canada on February 18, pre-orders are available starting today. We know that Rogers will definitely be carrying the Note Edge as it prepares to showcase its recently launched CAT6 network which combines the AWS and 2600 MHz spectrum to increase speeds. The Note Edge is the first device in Canada that can take advantage of these faster network speeds.

Revealed last year, the  Note Edge sets itself apart from the multitude of phablets through its curved screen that runs along the right side of the device. This was designed to deliver access to email, Internet, apps, notifications, news without interrupting the content on the main screen. Next Samsung Galaxy Note will reportedly get a QHD display

If you're an avid Samsung Galaxy Note fan, you might want to watch for what's next in the pipeline. The South Korean tech company has just posted a web profile for an unannounced and unidentified SM-N910A device that features a 2560x1440 display with the same screen size as the Note 3. This is supposedly the next Note device because the Note 3 for AT&T is the SM-N900A.

If this truly is the next Note device, then it will have visuals that can take on the G3. And we know how Samsung is doing in the display department for its devices.
