Apple Fitness+ lets you take a 'walk' with Shawn Mendes

Apple Fitness+ introduces new Time to Walk feature with Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes as one of the first guests (Source: Apple)

Maybe you go on your walks alone and want something different to listen to. Apple Fitness+ has a new Time to Walk audio program featuring celebrities like pop star Shawn Mendes, country legend Dolly Parton, actress Uzo Aduba, and NBA player Draymond Green as they go for walks in their neighbourhoods. It's an unscripted series launched on Monday, January 25, and will add more episodes on the same day every week until the end of April. The audio is playable through the Apple Watch, so all you need are AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones connected to them to listen to the stories.

The 25- to 40-minute episodes include anecdotes of life-shaping moments and memories, lessons learned, and other thought-provoking topics that might come up as they take walks. There will even be pictures appearing on the Watch to amplify certain moments that a guest shares. After they're done talking, the guests will introduce a short playlist of songs that inspire or motivate them, so you can continue your walk while listening to the specially-curated tracks.

McAfee study names Shawn Mendes as 'Canada's Most Dangerous Celebrity in 2017'

Canadian pop rock musician Shawn Mendes dethrones Justin Beiber as the country's most dangerous celebrity to search for online when it comes to exposing their fans to malicious websites. According to this study from McAfee, the list usually covers all kinds of celebrities but this year the musicians dominate the list. Returnees include Justin Beiber (No. 2), Avril Lavigne (No. 3), and Drake (No. 6). The other Canadian musicians part of the list include Celine Dion (No. 4),  Carly Rae Jepsen (No. 5), and Alessia Cara (No. 7). McAfee cautions people to be careful what they click on when they're online. For example, if you're trying to sneak a peek at new Shawn Mendes material, it would be best to wait for the official release and searching for things like "Free MP3s" can mostly lead you to risky, malware-infested sites. The computer security software company recommends using some of its tools like the McAfee WebAdvisor and McAfee Total Protection.
