Sony Xperia Pro-I gets release date in more markets

After its launch last month, the Sony Xperia Pro-I gets a more definitive release date in more markets. As promised, it's coming to more regions next month. The UK and France are getting the handset on December 2. Germany then follows that on December 7, and then the US on December 10. Sony launches Xperia Pro-I with its RX100 VII 1-inch sensor onboard

Sony's latest premium camera shifts focus to photography enthusiasts or professionals who want a more powerful camera on their smartphones. The new Sony Xperia Pro-I comes equipped with a 1-inch sensor borrowed from the company's RX100 VII point-and-shoot camera. 

It gives the primary sensor on this handset impressive 2.4µm-sized pixels, promising better performance in low light. (That's also twice the pixel pitch on the newest Pixel 6 Pro.) This sensor can also shoot 12-bit RAW files and native 4K video at 120 frames per second with eye-detection auto-focus. The auto-focus on this sensor has 315 points that cover 90 percent of the frame.
