While the Sony Xperia Z2 is the evolutionary heir to its long and evolving flagship smartphone line and I can’t help but feel when I pick it up that I am holding all of Sony’s technology in the palm of my hand.
Following the recent Android Jelly Bean update for the Xperia Z Ultra and Z1, Sony is rolling out the 4.3 version of its OS to the Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z, ZL, and ZR. These four devices will be gaining access to the OS updates features as well as the Smart Social Camera from Sony. There will also be a new suite of Sony-made apps for these Xperia users, including MyXperia, Messaging, Small apps, TrackID, Sony Select, and Smart Connect.
The Sony Xperia Z is the latest flagship smartphone from Sony and it is coming exclusively to Bell Mobility. Being a Sony smartphone, it has the latest in camera technology with a 13 MP camera, a large 5" full HD display with the renown Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor backed by 2GB of RAM. What's more impressive is the fact that this sleek and slim smarphone (7.9mm body) is completely dust and water-resistant.
Here's the Sony Xperia Z's design and features being demoed by Sony Canada. This is the second Xperia tablet from Sony but the third Android tablet device that they have come out with in Canada. The Xperia Z continues in the tradition of second-screen Android tablets that can do double-duty as an 'Everything Remote,' so aside from home theatre components it can even control home automation widgets. The Xperia Z, coming in March, features a robust quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android OS Jelly Bean and all of Sony's content applications built in. It is clearly one of the nicest and most functional Android tablets out there not to mention one of the few water-resistant amd dunkable devices in the market.
