Subaru teases its first electric SUV

Subaru

Subaru's first EV will be coming out next year, and it'll be an SUV similar to its all-wheel-drive predecessors, except it'll be entirely electric. Subaru is calling it the Solterra, which literally means "sun" and "earth," to convey environmental consciousness, as mentioned in a press release.

Solterra will be on sale sometime in 2022 in Canada, the U.S., Europe, China, and Japan. The Japanese automaker is working with Toyota on this first electric venture.
