TELUS and Koodo Moto G's getting KitKat 4.4.2 update

It looks like the humble yet over achieving Moto G has something its more powerful sibling, the Moto X, doesn't. At least here in Canada, the TELUS and KoodoMoto G's are getting the huge Android OS 4.4.2 update promised during launch late last year. This brings the latest, greatest version of Android to the Moto G and brings a new dialer, the highly touted full-screen mode, imrpoved battery life and the end to the blue on black interface that harkens back to the days of Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich. For the full list of features, kindly go check out this link. As for the Moto X, word has it that we'll the long awaited update before February.

TELUS shows the greatest connection is a human connection

TELUS is pulling on my heartstrings with their latest holiday campaign. The company recently reached out to the public on social media and asked Canadians who they wanted to connect with this holiday season. After reviewing thousands of entries, four people were chosen and TELUS made their wishes come true.

The perfect holiday reminder that the greatest connection is a human connection.

Get your tissues ready.

Android Jelly Bean lands on Samsung Galaxy S4, S4 Mini from Canadian carriers

Android Central reported that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is finally making its way to Samsung Galaxy S4 and S4 Minis from Bell, TELUS and Rogers. Just watch for the 790MB update to hit your device soon. There will be visual refreshes for a few menus and icons and it will now include support for the Galaxy Gear watch.

Correction: I apologize for the error. We meant Android Jelly Bean instead of KitKat.
