HTC One on Bell, Rogers and Telus receiving Android 4.4.2 update

HTC promised the KitKat Android 4.4.2 update by the end of January and they fulfilled their target. HTC One units on Bell, Rogers and Teluse should be receiving the updates. They will need to be done via WiFi (the files is over 500 MB) and it takes around 20 minutes to get the latest Android OS on one of the best Android handsets in the market. Way to go HTC!

Canadian HTC Ones will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat soon

HTC's flagship smartphone is about to get much smarter. Canadian carriers are slated to release the much awaited KitKat update for the HTC One. HTC Canada has confirmed that carriers Rogers, Bell, TELUS, SaskTel, Virgin and WIND all have possession of the update and are running the mandatory tests before unleashing the update into the wild. Timeframe for release is for late January, but as far as carriers go, that's a moving target.

A roadmap leak by LlabTooFeR also confirms that the rest of the HTC One bunch (meaning the mini, max and even the Desire 601) are expected to be blessed with updated Android 4.4.2 plus Sense 5 double-whammy. Which should keep users of these devices quite happy.
