Electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV on display in Ottawa tomorrow

Mitsubishi’s Clean Across Canada electric vehicle tour reaches Ottawa tomorrow, August 25, with the public invited to see the i-MiEV at Bank St. Mitsubishi,2565 Bank St. Ottawa, ON from 11 am onwards.
The car reached Boucherville Monday and Montreal yesterday, with Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada president and CEO Koji Soga presenting the car to dealers. Over a three-year period, starting in December, Hydro-Quebec and the Town of Boucherville will test up to 50 all-electric Mitsubishi i-MiEVs under various conditions to assess charging performance, driving experience, and overall driving satisfaction.
The i-MiEV left Signal Hill in St. John’s, Newfoundland on August 17, and will travel 7,500 kilometres in 28 days to Vancouver. The car has covered some 2,135 kilometres so far.
Already sold in Japan, the i-MiEV will be introduced to the Canadian market at the end of 2011.
