CES 2011: Opera outs browser for tablets

Opera knows browsers and apparently also has a good grasp of what works with tablets. Previewing their Android tablet browser at CES 2011, Opera hopes to make inroads into the upcoming tablet explosion, something it missed doing with smartphones by coming late to the market.

"In 2011, tablets are a new must-have. Opera is creating waves with the first public preview of Opera for tablets," added Christen Krogh, chief development officer of Opera Software, in a statement. "Opera for tablets brings the same trusted Internet experience to tablets and netbook PCs as users have come to love on their mobile phones and desktops."
