Google, Samsung set to launch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on October 19th

A sure sign that a new version of the Google Android OS is ready for release is the appearance of a new statue in the Googleplex lawn. Ice Cream Sandwich (or Android 4.0) isn't just the 4th generation of the monbile OS, it is also the unifiying system that will work on both smartphones and tablets. In other news, Samsung is slated to release the Nexus Prime or Galaxy Nexus flagship phone on the 19th. We heard Motorola (which is now owned by Google) is also gearing up to release some new device to replace the now heavily discounted  Motorola XOOM.
