Recognizing the growing market for smartphones running Google's Android OS, Philips Canada has released a series of Android compatible audio accessories.  These include earbud headsets, on ear headphones as well as a universal Bluetooth dock.

Philips Made for Android Headsets  are designed to deliver a customized, hands-free experience specifically for Android users.  Philips approach is not just to offer compatible accessories but to enhance the overall experience with complimentary Android apps that extend the functionality of the devices. Philips specifically states their compatibility with devices from "HTC, Samsung, Motorola and LG."
Programmed for full functionality with virtually any Android device, the headsets are part of the Philips Android ecosystem of products and offer easy call and music management enhanced by sound optimization and personalization capabilities through the free Philips MyHeadset app.
