Philips introduces a new Hue Go portable table lamp

Source: Signify

If you want your smart lamp to be untethered, Philips has a new portable table lamp. The Philips Hue Go retails for US$159.99 (around CA$207) and is slated to launch late summer. It features a translucent trim, metal construction, and a silicone grip that goes up to two-thirds of the pipe. It has a circular charging dock that automatically charges the lamp when you place it on the charging contact. The light will need its charger since it doesn't support Qi wireless charging.

You can fully charge the Philips Hue Go in around three or four hours. Its rechargeable battery can offer up to 48 hours of battery life on its dimmest setting or roughly six hours on its brightest. It's designed for indoor and outdoor use, with the lamp offering an IP44 rating, protecting it from dust and water splashes. Like the bowl-shaped Go portable lamp, this tablet lamp works over Bluetooth and Zigbee. It comes with white and colour ambiance light and can glow in up to 16 million colours.
