"Next iPhone" made from purported spare parts emerges

It is inevitable that the surging interest and demand for Apple's next iPhone is reaching peak levels. Now that most of the competition have released their flagship smartphone products for the year, the public at large is hungry for the next game changing iPhone.

Chinese parts supplier iLab Factory put together a non-working device from various spare parts. These parts have been seen before in other leaks but never as an assembled device (again, without any working components). 

Since the iPhone 4S was seen as an incremental update, at least in terms of design, a lot of people are holding out for the next redesigned version of Apple's iPhone. This is specially true since the iPhone has traditionally been launched in the Summer and most of Apple's smartphone competitors have already released their flagship products for the year. The hope is that Apple's next smartphone will blow away the competition in terms of features and design.

From what we can see from the above photos, the Franken-iPhone looks a lot like the earlier rendering of the phone. A smaller dock connector, the use of aluminum and glass hybrid case and a slimmer, longer profile plus the moving of the HD front facing camera to the centre above the speaker. We're taking this leak with skepticism and a grain of salt, but it is still interesing development that adds to the conversation of what the next iPhone model will bring.
