HP unveils touch-enabled Chromebook 14

HP released the new iteration of the Chromebook 14. While it carries the same name as the existing notebook, this new model has a higher resolution, touch-enabled display with increased storage and memory. It has a 1,920 x 1,080 display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB onboard flash storage (you still get 100GB Google Drive storage). But it also has an Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and it promises the same 8-hour battery life. With better specs, you can expect it to cost more than the US$300 Chromebook 14. This new Chromebook will set you back $440.

I just phoned hp Canada today to see if and when this [hp touch enabled 14" Chromebook] would be coming to Canada and the sales rep said that it usually takes 30 days longer for new products to enter Canada. I guess they need extra time to print up adds saying that the screen is 35.559999999999995 cm rather than 14".
