Google Glass update XE16 starts roll out, brings KitKat to the specs

Google is bringing KitKat to Glass in the form of a new update. Android Community reports XE16 update is being rolled out at the moment. The tech site says the first update will be XE 12.1 to prepare you for that update. It will need Glass to be plugged in for around 20 minutes. It comes with a new boot animation and groups multiple photos into a collage layout in a single card to make scanning easier. Voice commands are also re-sorted in order of how often they are used and Video Calls have been take out of the command list. Bluetooth 4.0 LE is also now supported and volume is set at 100% after the update. The site also reports some app crashes and sluggishness though.
