Google Glass 'approved' for Canada, but does anyone still care?

After over a year, Google Glass is apparently approved for Canada.Explorer Brian Buquoi received the above note with his replacement Glass which says that Google Glass has been approved by industry Canada, which means it is likely one step away from being made available to Canadians.

Google Glass was initially just U.S. only, but that didn't stop many interested explorers, Canadians included, to find ways and means to get a hold of this wearable technology, often by paying above the already steep price of US $1,500.00 for the kit.

Google Glass has lost a lot of its initial momentum and excited. It was hardly discussed at this year's Google I/O, while Google was supposed to make Glass more affordable and available this year but we've heard nothing. Even many once fervent Glass explorers have cooled and have packed their Glass away.
