SkyLynx App changes the game for skiers with iPhones and Apple Watch

SkiLynx, the newest app from the wearable software visionaries at Wearlynx, uses real-time location tracking and one-tap chat to let you effortlessly stay connected with friends on the slopes through your Apple Watch or iPhone.

Launching today exclusively for the iPhone and Apple Watch, SkyLynx app offers several functions never before seen in apps for skiers and snowboarders, including the ability to pin point exactly which chairlift or run you and your group are on (including if you’re going UP or DOWN the mountain, and what percentage along you are), location-aware hashtags ("Meet me at #here" becomes "Meet me at KT-22" when you are riding KT-22), and the ability to track actual miles skied. SkiLynx is optimized for the Apple Watch, but also works seamlessly with the iPhone alone. 

SkiLynx debuts today with SkiLynx California covering all California's top resorts, and the platform will expand to include more regions by mid-winter.
