Sony releases Action Cam app for Android and iOS

If you want more flexibility with the shots you’ve taken with a Sony Action Cam, the company just unveiled an accompanying app for Android and iOS. The app will let you edit videos taken with the Action Cam. You can do things like cut clips, manipulate the speed (slow or fast motion), add background music, and flip videos vertically or horizontally. Also, you can add titles, credits, and audio mixing into your videos.
The Action Cam App comes with a built-in How To guide. It can generate high quality 720 at 30p (HD) or 1080 at 30p/60p (Full HD) that you can transfer between devices via Wi-Fi. The app is compatible with FSR-X1000V, HDR-AS200V/AS100V/AS30V/AS20, HDR-AZ1, Android OS 4.4 to 5.0, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. For the AS30V, the camera software has to be version 3.0.0.
