WIND now offers coverage to TTC's entire downtown Toronto subway route

Voice and Data access in the rapid transit system, specially the underground subway system is a holy grail of sorts and one that brings mixed reactions from people. Many, who are heavily reliant on being connected all day want the convenience of receiving email and calls while riding the Red Rocket, while others dread having to deal with noisy conversations and constant ringtones.

Wind Mobile has  wireless service in TTC subway stations has now been expanded throughout the entire downtown loop of the TTC's Line 1 subway route.

Wind says their mobile customers can now make calls and access wireless data in subway stations from Bloor-Yonge station, right around the Line 1 downtown loop and as far north as Spadina station. Service is also operational at Bay station on Line 2, for a total of 15 stations altogether. This is something to consider for commuters who are now off contract and seeking better deals with their mobile service and who are primarily using their device in the downtown core.
