Darkroom for iOS adds sharing ability for filters and better color altering tool
Photo editing app Darkroom adds more tools under its belt with its latest update. Version 2 of the app adds the ability for users to share custom filters on Instagram. The app shares this in a unique way though. When you post a photo on Instagram with a filter from Darkroom, others can take a screenshot of the photo. There will be an on-image QR code showing up there and that filter will then be made available to them.
The app’s color tool now also lets you choose specific color profiles in your photo as well as adjust hue, saturation, and luminance for each. Darkroom also now lets you favorite and delete photos while you edit, the save function will let you overwrite your existing photo with edited one. You can also now transfer edits from one photo to another. If you want access to the color tool and filter sharing though, you’ll need to make an in-app purchase to “Pro Mode.” That’ll set you back US$3.99.
