Android Wear devices now work with iPhones

iPhone users can now pair their smartphones with a range of Android Wear-powered devices. With the release yesterday of Android Wear for iOS app. Preaching choice and variety, anyone using an iPhone (iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, or 6 Plus running iOS 8.2+) can pair it with an Android Wear watch to get information at a glance, track their fitness, receive timely tips like when to leave for appointments, current traffic info, and flight status and invoke the Google Now voice assistant right from their wrist.

Android Wear for iOS currently works with the LG Watch Urbane. All future Android Wear watches, including those from Huawei, Asus, and Motorola will also support iOS. iPhone users now have the most range of wearable solutions, aside from the Apple Watch, they can now use Pebble devices and a variety of upcoming Android Wear devices.
