iPhone X pre-orders begin on October 27

The time to pre-order the iPhone X is close at hand. Canadians who want to ensure delivery of the completely redesigned iPhone flagship on November 3, will have their browsers or Apple Store apps locked and loaded on on Friday, October 27 at 12:01 a.m. PDT . That's 3:01 a.m. for us East Coast folks, which is pretty brutal but since a lot of people will presumably be calling in sick for the premiere of Stranger Things 2 on Netflix (that kicks in at midnight, y'all).

iPhone X is the statement device from Apple and the culmination of 10 years of iPhone evolution. While the company released the perfectly capable and similarly specced iPhone 8 last month, iPhone X brings a bezel with notch design (for FaceID) that removes the home button and uses facial recognition as as security and payments feature.

iPhone X is expected to be in very short supply given that it is an entirely new product, featuring new components (OLED display) and materials (surgical grade steel), as well as the first ever fork in iOS iPhones. iPhone X features a 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip and the best 12 megapixel dual cameras Apple has to offer with front and back Optical Image Stabilization

Pricing is also evolved to tha of a very premium item. iPhone X will be available in silver and space grey in 64GB and 256GB models starting at $1,319 (CAD) from apple.com/ca and Apple Stores and is also available through Apple Authorized Resellers and carriers.
