What our tech lovin' mommy friends want for Mother's Day

Ask any mom (myself included) what we want for Mother's Day. We will tell you that we'd like to stay out of the kitchen (especially the cleaning up part) and we'd really just like some time to do something we enjoy like reading, sleeping in, doing something creative, watching movies, time to take care of ourselves without interruption by someone asking... "what's for lunch?" "Where are my soccer socks?" or "Is the laundry done yet?" We love you all... but seriously, just a few hours of peace is bliss for us. 

So, when we asked some of our tech lovin' mommy friends what's on their wish lists it came as no surprise that their ideas tied right into our collective desire for "me time". Of course, the kids can shower us with all the hugs and kisses too!  

Great gift suggestions worth noting...

Amber Mac (bestselling author, tech entrepreneur, media host and speaker) tells us this Mother's Day she's eyeing the Bellabeat Leaf Urban Silver wearable (but really pretty enough to wear as everyday jewellery). Samantha Kemp-Jackson (aka @multiplemayhemmamma) President of Triple M Communications, parenting writer, and media personality tells us "In an ideal world, my kids will get me an iPhone 7 or 7+ for Mother's Day. When we asked Libby Roach (freelance food photographer and writer) an avid photographer and self professed "tech lover in the highest" about what she would love, she tells a Canon 5D mark IV EOS DSLR Camera tops her want list. "I've been shooting more video lately and need a new body to keep up.  What else? She also is a fan of Nintendo so the new Nintendo Switch is high on her list! Libby also tells us she's been eyeing the Google Pixel for her next phone.

As for me, I'd love to get a set of Apple AirPods. Although I currently have other wireless ear buds and headphones, I'm curious about how these will instantly turn on and automaticaly play as soon as they're in your ears. Activitating Siri and even adjusting the volume without having to pull out my phone sounds pretty neat. I'd also like the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock as my current charging wire that comes with the watch is hanging everywhere.
